  I was refused service after submitting an order. I had never ordered flowers before online or in person so I put in comments that "I need these delivered on (insert date). NO EARLIER and NO LATER." I honestly did not realize that this could be taken the wrong way. I was not trying to be rude at all. I, again, had no idea how ordering flowers goes so I wanted to ensure the delivery date was noted as it was the most important part. My friends mother and mother-in-law had died within a month and wanted to make sure that there was a surprise on his desk when he got back into work.
  
  Well, I ended up getting an email from Peter stating:
  "The most wonderful thing about being in business for 96 years is that I really don't have to work anymore and I can refuse any order I wish. Your terse instructions of "I need these delivered on the 21st. NO LATER and NO EARLIER" Also to call you once delivered. I don't like being instructed in these terms and tone. Your credit card has not been processed and I am sure you can find some other florist that will abide with your tone. Good Day. Peter E. Flynn"
  
  I did not think it was appropriate to send an email back to apologize so I called to tell him that was not the tone I tried to get across and I was so so beyond sorry I upset him. He insisted he was never upset and doesn't have to deal with this. I apologized again and then it was done.
  
  I felt terrible and even more terrible that my apology was not taken seriously as I truly did not mean to be rude at all.
  
  It is unfortunate that my type created this issue but it's more unfortunate that a sincere apology was completely written off. I would recommend saving your time and seeking out another florist because as he states in his email and said again on the phone that he "really doesn't have to work anymore".
